Anyway, this CD sucks (especially the "bonus" tracks), but thanks for the rip. Any chance of seeing scans of the booklet? I’m willing to bet it’s about 100 times more interesting than this rushed disc.

I know this is odd, I’m answering myself! I downloaded a rip from a link at this thread (Thread 99617) and they did what I was afraid, the worst of this is that they tried to make them looped.
Here’s a link of what Boss!! should actually sound like at the end as opposed to the moronic loop Sega did in this release.

I don’t get it. If the CD sucks, why the hell do you want the scans? I think the bonus tracks were great, but that’s me. By the way, no one is ever pleased with nothing. If you had the flac you’ll be bitching for something else. Someone took the great effort of buying something, ripping it, tagging it and share it for free with everyone, so stop demanding.

I think if you really want the flac you should consider that your incentive to purchase it yourself. Not that I’m not saving up for this release anyways, but just think of a flacrip as an "exclusive actual owner’s bonus" and chill.

The only improvement that the people who made this CD, would to have included the American Verison of the game’s soundtrack. But i love this cd the way it is, because they could have decided to not to make this CD

Yup, it’s definitely more HQ in comparison. I don’t mind it at all. It makes sense that they ‘loop’ the track to make it last longer ingame.

It’s a badly put together CD for a number of reasons. Mainly in the fact that the editing/looping/fades sucks, and the "improved" audio quality is just some lazy compression. I’m not bitching aimlessly for the sake of it, but rather being discerning about a release that I believe was rushed out without much thought put into it.

Ralbalbao: I like Sonic CD and the music on this disc, just not the way it was put together. I also definitely didn’t ask for a FLAC rip, because I know Ashram doesn’t do them. I was merely enquiring whether booklet scans were possible.

I know there’s a guy on youtube that had the OST up and did his own variation of the music, such as looping and editing the music together. I thought his was done pretty well. As for the CD, you get what you want. I honestly don’t care as to how they did it, even if it was a lousy attempt, it’s still good music. Maybe someone can do a re-edit and upload it here?
