Song Help!

Hey guys, I’m obviously new to these forums, and new to the Final Fantasy scene as well. I recently started playing FFXI Ultimate Collection for the Xbox 360 and the question I had was about the song that plays on the menu. It is also the same song that plays while you are downloading the game itself (not the play online viewer part) with the spinning crystal, etc.

Anyways, if anyone can help me with this song I have looked for it everywhere and I can’t find it. It’s the menu where you pick and existing character or chose to create a new one.

Ah, I think you’re referring to the famous Crystal Prelude by Nobuo Uematsu, that’s been in practically every FF game since 1987.

In FFXI it plays on the FFXI page in PlayOnline Viewer and when downloading updates to the client. It should be easy enough to find, although I’m not sure it’s included in the official FFXI Original Soundtrack CD.

EDIT: it indeed is included in the FFXI OST (it’s the first track on disc 2), and I found it quite easily on FF Dream: http://www.ffdream.com/downld-ostff11.html
