Wow, my first thread I’ve made in probably years, here. xD
So yeah, as a summer assignment for my art class next year, we have to make at least one sketch for a project idea for the school year, and I went past just sketching to actually drawing it full out. (It’s too hard for me to leave a good idea just as a sketch…) But I’m having trouble with the background (as well as with drawing the nose, it needs fixing–I suck at drawing noses).
So some constructive criticism would be most welcome.
–There’s 2 pictures because one is taken with the flash on, and the other without. It makes it easier to see certain parts of it. xD (And Hylaasar is the name of the drawing of course!)

Overall It is very nice, for the constructive criticism really depends on what you were looking for wen you drew the picture.
-Overall the shading is nice shows a nice range of light to dark
-To me her Face seemed a bit Flat, unless thats what you wanted.
-Lastly, using referance would help in some situations like the placement of the wings.
But overall it is very detailed and nice. Keep it up.

Continue drawing, and improve during the process. You’re a talented artist, particularly when it comes to shading (her wings were done beautifully); frankly, I can’t say the same for the nose – her face in general lacks grace. Nevertheless, I’m sure you received a good mark. 😉
