Did you get the PC version or the PS2 version?

Cuz if you got the PC version, then it isn’t gonna load on the PS2.

Well there is only 2 Blue Discs with the FFXI package… but lets see.

First off, make sure you have your Harddrive and stuff inserted into the system and snuggly. After that, make sure the PS2 is in it’s vertical position then load the PLAYONLINE BLUE DISC. Make sure to skip the opening movie by hitting X.

If it won’t load, have some masking tape and put two strips paralell to each other on top of the disc on opposite side of the middle ring. It’ll give it more weight so the disc won’t fly around in the disc drive. Try to load it from there. It SHOULD work. If it doesn’t, check Gamefaqs and under the PS2 section, you should find a FAQ about returning your PS2 to be fixed up and returned to you without the CD disc reading errors.
