Heh… being new, I guess I’ll show off a bit of my work in CG/Painter and Pixel.

Not my best, not my worst.. just stuff 🙂

A friend and I had a pixel art collaboration where she and I would do different celebrities in the FFT portrait style. Here’s my John Lennon.. guess there’s a resemblance. BTW, she did a Bjork, but I don’t have the url handy, sorry.

San Saradiart from Kartia/Rebus in the FFT portrait style. Not the easiest character to transition based on Amano’s original portrait.

For this one, I took a pre existing doll template, from Toybox I believe, and made a FFT female Lancer. Also made an Ahriman for it… at least I think that’s what this type is called. Some hand pixelling for the logo.

Male FFT Calculator in my own template.

Gosh, these go back a couple years. I’ve improved alot since then:

Now for something not FFT related 🙂 A lil’ Solid Snake.

Last, but not least, a bit of anti aliased bitmap font work from last year (and a fft style illustration). This was a hobby project to create a FFT-like game font, however I also worked on greek, japanese, and a slew of old runic alphabet characters in a smaller type/style to complement the task. If anybody has screenshots of the characters in the Japanese version of FFT, I would like to see those so I can one day assemble this as a complete set and release it to the public.

I have a few other things that are related to an iso tactics game I’m working on, but I can’t really show off much of that right now.

If you’d like to see more, I run http://pixel-arts.org, so you can usually find me posting something there once in a while. Comments and critique on my work is welcome. If you ask nicely, you’re welcome to use these for avatars or personal projects.
