Solomon Ring/Doomtrain

OK, I have the six steel pipes and six marlboro tentacles, and well over six remedies. So, how come I still can’t get Doomtrain from the Solomon ring?

They need to be remedy plusses.

How do you get Malbortentacles everytime i go into battle with a Malboro it uses some breat thing that makes my guys all fucked up and i get game over.

You just gotta boost up your status defences as better as best you can.

To the other person who asked how to beat marlboro… get one character (more hp the better) who has a GF who has ST DF x 2 so you can junction two statuses to defense. Get 90 to 100 confuse spells and the same number of berserk spells for that character. Hopefully you have the refine items to status magic spell, so you can refine items (I forget which… it’ll say in the thing) into berserk and confuse spells. Then, go to the status junction screen for that one character, and put berserk and confuse in the two defense slots. Do not use auto junction after that, as it might take the berserk and/or confuse out of those slots and into your attributes

It is also best if that same character has Siren, and has the Treatment ability (or at least can use items). Now, you have one character who will be able to pull the other two out of their sleep, confuse, berserk, etc. Then, if you have demi spells, do a few of those (multiple ones if possible… actually it is best to summon Cerberus asap), then I’d say either use the Card ability to turn it into a card, or just pummel the crap out of it with the strongest GF’s.

If you’re still having trouble with it, then maybe you should start the game over, and this time use the strategy guide.

Easy Malboro Tentacles;

Go to Island Closest To Hell. Junction the ability Initiative to Quistis. Make sure Quistis knows the Blue Magic spell ‘Degenerator’ (learnt from a Black Hole, mod a Gesper Card), give her critical HP (ie. in the yellow) and when the battle begins, you’ll get an early Limit Break. Degenerator its ass.

no go to heaven and do that cause i think i fought like none at island closest to hell but fought alot at island closest to heaven

yes, dark soldier is right. the monsters in hell consist of dragons and other stuff, but in heaven, it consist of malboros and the other plant monster(forgot what it’s called.)

another way, to defeat malboro is to have lots of dead sprits in your inventory, or have high luck, then get gf odin, and he’ll appear at least 3-5 times in a row in your battles and slice malboro in half. five battles of malboro should be enough to get malboro tentacles that’s needed to summon doomtrain.
