a few tracks are longer than other releases, but the big discrepancy is the inclusion of an overture and intermission. Some say they were assembled from the other cues just for the CD and never used in the film. Others say they were part of the soundtrack when the film debuted in 1959.

nascimbene is one of the great classical film composers, and he deserves far mroe recognition and better labels than soundtrack library IMO
