Ha ha, it reads just like "Sole-toss"…

Anyways, I have completed Tales of Symphonia, and are currently half-way though the game again. Skies of Arcadia Legends was the first awesome RPG for the Gamecube, but not the last…

Yes, we all know that Skies is a Dreamcast port, with Legends being a big upgrade with all the usual fancies. Extra scenes, longer gameplay, more hidden bonuses, etc. But I had never heard of this game until I decided to buy it that one glorious day. After completing it, I was confident that this game was the best that Nintendo had to offer.

When I purchased Tales of Symphonia, I had read nothing about it. I was just out strolling through my local FuncoLand, when I saw it on the shelves. The money was just sitting in my wallet, and I needed a new project to work on. So, out came the $65 for the game and the strategy guide. At first, I wasn’t too keen of the Anime graphics. But, after finishing it, I have decided that this is the best game that Nintendo has on the market right now.

So which one is better? And are either of these the best GCN game, right now?

I think ToS is slightly better than SoAL.
They were both very good games in their own right, i am not a fond lover of anime full stop, so that – for me was a little disappointing, but i still plyed them bothall the same.

As for them being the best GCN game on our stalls today, i am not entirely sure. There are other great games out there too, and of course LoZ:WindWaker and Majora’s Mask all reached high ratings and were very good indeed.

ToS and SoAL are definately in the runnings for present favourite GCN game.

Majora’s Mask was on the N64. o_O

Anyhow, I had this conversation with Smokey earlier, and I really can’t think of a gamecube game that was more fun then Tales of Symphonia. Skies of Arcadia is a fantastic game, but I prefer the ToS battle system.
