So GD went from an all day roast to a downloading network?

What do you expect iHOR, when the majority of the member base are nothing but leeches who hide out in the download section, downloading content that they A: Can’t be bothered to go to a store to purchase, B: want it right then and there & C: Want it for nothing. The site has gone downhill since the download section was added, almost all of the old guard have left the forum and due to all the downloads etc, this site has garnered a lot of hate from other sites due to this one section. Even here in GD as you’ve said… it’s become a breeding ground for people to post about downloads etc etc. Hey, if people want to talk about that, fine… go talk in the download subforum and not spam up other subforums ffs.

The **can’t** Admin has specifically said NO discussion threads in the download forum. Jessie and Sarah both say discussion threads MUST be placed here. So, that’s who to look to if it is bothersome.

Not too long ago such humor was prevalent an the Shoot The Shit thread. Though again, most contributors to that left to form their own site. I think as a response to frequent Shrine down times.

Then why not create a subforum in the download section, specifically for that? That’d be a better solution.

Because I am not an admin. You would have to ask Jessie or Sarah. When I created a soundtrack/score discussion thread here in GD, it was specifically because Sarah asked me to, and to do it here….

Partly because on-going discussions in the threads there were causing issues and flaming. Some folks feel any sort of conversation only serves to clog threads and make it harder to grab new links….
