Snowboarding Fun…

One of my favouritest parts of Final Fantasy VII, was the whole snowboarding sub level you could play. I literally wasted hours playing this, collecting those balloons, knocking those poor moogles into the sky and just generally making myself look like a complete twit by messing up the easiest of jumps.

Anyone else get completely and utterly hooked into this sub game, or was there another one you found yourself a part of and that you could not escape?

I remember back in cold, cold mornings of December or so, back in 98 (or maybe 99)….me and m’best friend would sit on the livin’ room floor, wrapped in blankets, just wasting the entire morning on this game…and for some reason, my mom had the front door wide open, and it was like…freezing out. x__x oh well, added to the realism of it. ^.^;

Anyway, we’d play for hours, setting/breaking records, making insane speeds and jumps..Square should make a snowboard game composed of FF characters, lol. That’d be fun. I mean, they obviously nailed it in FF7..why not a game? Rather than these dumb remakes (KH2, FFX-2, blegh, go to hell you remakes)..

yea… i found the snowboarding game the best out of all of them. and ennys idea is pretty good…

You could just have a laugh, and get GP at the same time, and it was soo-much fun, especially falling over…!:cool:

I got more addicted to the biker mice cloud of midgar subgame ^^;
but I had my fair share of playing the snowboard game. JUMP JUMP.

I sucked at the snowboard game at first, but eventually grew to like it. Although I never could get really great scores/times at the later courses, I at least did well enough to beat them all and open up the time challenges.

<font color=red face="comic sans ms">I got addicted to the snowboarding after a while too. There was a time not so long ago where me and a couple of my friends actually just used to play that and compete to get the best times. I currently hold all three of the times, and have a "Super" time on all three of the courses. 😀 I’ll get my times if you want for you all to compare with…

funnest thing to do is go on the easiest course and go as fast as you can then before the arch with the green baloon on it jump cloud will but the coolest fuckin backflip and if you have a great amount of skill like me you will jump the arch bust a backflip and grab the green baloon all in one try:cool:

I played the snowboarding game all through the summer of 1999. I can only remember my best score on the Easy Course which is about 52 seconds.

For the backflip over the arch thing, that isn’t the only place to do backflips you just have to be going a certain speed. My favorite thing to do while messing around is to go in the desert tunnell on the hard one and get as much speed as possible and jump in there and nail my head on the roof. After that Cloud really eats shit on the dirt:D Sorry Cloud it’s just sooooo funny!
