Sleep Well With VGM [Fan-Compilation 2013]

Being the huge video game music nerd that I am, I’ve often tried to bring my field of expertise closer to my friends and relatives. This only brought mixed results thus far. But seeing how many them have become parents lately, here’s finally something that could catch their interest. Lullaby VGM for their little ones!

Basically, my starting points were the Peach Healing Music (http://vgmdb.net/album/2043) and POTION (http://vgmdb.net/album/73) compilation albums, which include lots of different relaxing and soothing tracks from Nintendo and Final Fantasy. Now I’ve expanded those albums by combing through my archives and throwing in some of my favorite tracks from Kirby, Chrono Trigger, Rockman, etc., that work in the same style and are well suited for sleepy music.

I’ve also tried it on myself, but maybe either I just don’t sleep well with music in general, or I’m just emotionally too attached to the tracks as they get my brain running.
