So I was one of those who preordered the Skyrim soundtrack. I already know that others had heavy shipping problems (such as me) with the package arriving very late, their customer support ignoring calls and emails and other stuff like that, but I have an issue I haven’t seen brought up. The Skyrim CD was not shrinkwrapped in any way and arrived with tears through the spine. Completely unacceptable for something so overpriced (4CDs is not a good enough reason, the packaging is crap quality as well).

But anyways, the reason I’m writing this – am I the only one to have had such bad luck, or have any others been shirked the same way?

Mine was pretty banged up, has a few scratches on Disc 1 and the tray for Disc 4 is cracked. Don’t remember there being any shrinkwrap, just came in a brown covered paper.

I wasn’t happy with how long it took either and the only time they replied to my ticket was when i said i was gonna file a complaint with paypal to get my money back. At least it’s signed, some golden squiggle that i can’t make out.

Was very disappointed in the end, still enjoyed the music, though.

Yeah, seriously, the "autograph" is incredibly disappointing as well, it’s some golden curves uncaringly scribbled on the side (It sort of looks like "JIGl" – wtf?). The music is great, true, but I don’t think I’ll ever buy anything from them again.

How does something like that even happen? You’d think that they’d pay more attention to people who seek bonus content :/

Well, they deal mainly in digital releases, this being their first CD release. So i guess they weren’t very prepared for it or the high demand they got for the soundtrack.

No excuse for omitting something as simple and obvious as shrink wrap.
