Seems to be a channel rip from the trailer, you can still hear a motorcycle sound effect at one point ^^ But that�s not a complain, I like it.

I don’t hear a motorcycle.
This was from the "music only" track.

the different tracks are all mono.
this isn’t some 5.1 mix.

each track is different audio layers. all in mono. they never overlap until you mix them as such.

one for music
one for sound effects
one for dialogue

or some of them do come in as 5.1 with everything in it. this was not that case.

sometimes available in mono, sometimes stereo, sometimes in 5.1.

this was mono to begin with.
different places have different ways of distributing with different material.

so there is on motorcycle.
the music is largely synthetic and plays with a lot of soundscapes and different atmospheres in the background.
and if you’ve stuck with some crappy mp3 on soundcloud, then your imagination is putting in the motorcycle.

Just like when you listen to the Star Wars soundtracks you can still hear the Tie Fighters.

I think you are right. I had in mind that there was a glimpse of a motorcycle scene in the teaser, but after watching it again, it doesn�t fit the time frame with your track.

So I have to excuse ^^

.. on a disc in some studio somewhere, I wonder if there is a full track of the techno style James Bond music that begins at around 00:58 into the track … if so, hopefully it will appear in full some day … 🙂

I would really love to know who did the trailer music.
Seems to be consistent throughout all the teasers/trailers for Skyfall.

There is little speculation that it’s Pfeifer Broz. :itsamystery:
But so far, no. Newman hasn’t confirmed anything about the trailer music.
