Sky Odyssey

I was looking for the soundtrack of "Sky Odyssey" for a long time (composed by Kō Ōtani) and still couldn’t find it.

My attempts at extracting the music directly from the game files were futile, I couldn’t even find out in which file it would be in, let alone which format (it’s not PSF).

If no-one can help me, I will try recording them directly from the game – there is a jukebox mode, but as there seems to be no cheat code to unlock all the tracks, it would mean playing the game through, and that could take some time 🙂

I tried to rip the music from the game with many software too. But I haven’t extracted something yet. I can’t help you, sorry.
Maybe, like you said, you can try to record it directly. If you manage to rip the soundtrack, do you will post a downlaod link here, please ? =)

I already started playing the game again. Once I have unlocked all the songs I will record them through optical out and put the link on the board!

A little update…

It took me a while to find out that I do not need to beat Adventure mode in order to unlock all the tracks 🙂 I just needed to play through Target mode twice, and the medals allowed me to buy all the tracks and the radio. Unfortunately, it is not possible to listen to the music in the menu, so I will have to turn SFX down and start a game to record them.

As soon as I can find an appropriate cable to hook the PS2 audio up to my Notebook, I will record and upload them, it shouldn’t take too much time. However, it’s likely that not all tracks will be there yet, as menu music, briefing music etc. will probably not be among the unlocked. When I have more time, after my exams, I will record them too and upload a complete package.

You are the lonely one who had the idea to rips the audio of the game, that’s cool to have rarities & unreleased game soundtracks !
I searched the Sky Odyssey Musics since long time ! =)
