Does anyone know the Xplorer code for skipping fmv’s on FF8 as on one of them my CD crashes?

There isn’t really much of a Gameshark/Xplorer that allows you to skip movies… in FF9, if you eject the Disc, it will skip the FMV if you put it back in…. might work with FF8 but not sure.

<font color=red face="comic sans ms">Playstation lenses do tend to mess up over time. There are places where you can get them properly fixed, but it can be quite expensive, and you might not be able to find anywhere that does it any more anyway. 🙁 I’ve had it done to my psx twice (I’ve had it about 6 years or so), and it’s starting to mess up again a third time.
I have found a way around it though. If you get to an FMV that won’t load properly, just turn the playstation upside down. I’m not sure what it does, but it sometimes helps the Playstation read the disc more easily. If that still doesn’t work, try putting it on its side.
I haven’t found any way of skipping FMV’s in FF8; there probably is a code but I don’t know it. Just try flipping the PSX over. 😉

Ya I have the older/bigger version. I have never had any problems with ff8 but sometimes on ff7 instead of showing the FMVs that I should be seeing it puts on the FMV you see when first entering the golden saucer.

I heard from a very unreliable souce that peroxide can fix your lense I will try bravely I wouldn’t recommend it until I report what happened so Here I go-

Edit: it didn’t destroy it nor did it help
