Hi @ all,

since I just bought the SH5 PC Version and found out there is a Music-folder with all the 5.1 channel *.ogg files, I wanted to ask if someone is interested.

I read the other thread where ppl. are complaining about speed and conversion difficulties, but I listen to it via Winamp and it sounds 1:1 the same as in the game.

Maybe you like it and can figure out how to convert into an iPod compatible 2channel mp3.

Let me know!

P.S.: Cinematics, Speech etc. can follow if you give me a message.

The ipod compatible mp3? Is that just the same as a regular mp3? Sorry I don’t know this stuff since I don’t have an ipod – I use a different player.

Oh god yes! Downloading this now, and I would LOVE the speech and cinematics and any dumps you may be able to do on the sound effects and so on. I do alot of silent hill covers and I love to incorporate dialogue and sounds from the game to use in the mixes.

You’d be surprised how interest a drum beat can be when you incorporate the sound of a rusty elevator door closing lol.

It’d be nice to have the titles to all of these. I’ve got all but 8 of them named.

I’d like to thank you again for Uploading these. Titles being missing aside (and I know that is no Fault on your part) they sound phenomenal. It’s just a shame I don’t get to utilize my full surround sound system on more game and film scores.

No if ONLY it were possibile to have the Origins OST in surround sound, Alas I doubt that will ever happen, seeing as how it is a PSP game.

THANKS AGAIN!

It’s a PS2 game as well.

AH True, I forgot it was on PS2. Anyone know if there is a Full 5.1 Mix of that soundtrack floating around?

I wouldn’t know offhand if the PS2 version of the game would have been mixes in Surround instead of just standard 2 channel stereo.

Adobe Audition, Adobe Premier, Sony Sound Forge, Sony Vegas etc.
Just render any track as stereo mp3.

Anyone got any idea how to do this with lame from command line? Or any other Linux way to do this?

Can you also upload the Ambience Tracks? There is especially one Ambience Track i would like to hear, from the Hospital, right after the Opening scene ended.
