should final fantasy 7 and 8 be remade?

All the new final fantasy games,eg. ff x and on are well and good in their own way, but I am a die hard fan of the old ff games.-If they were to remake the same old ff games and insert say 2 or three new weapons, some new unknown materia or new swords and weapons, would that not be the coolest shit?
who do I talk to about getting people together on this?

The PS1 era games should not be remade… it’s called beating a dead horse…over and over…Besides, when people think of old Final Fantasies, they think of the Classics (I-VI). I would condsider VII-IX more or less, middle-aged.
