I think the Wisdom Tree series of games qualifies as the scariest. Computer games based on stories from the bible *shudders*. Sounds like something Ned Flanders should play.

F.E.A.R. wasn’t that scary…what was a major turn off for me was that it was poorly coded and suffered from frame lag constantly (even if you didn’t notice it, the frames fail to stay constant during firefights)

The game that got me scared shitless was Doom 64 for the Nintendo 64 because of the freaky ambient music, the monsters, and the scary but perfect use of the demonic graphics and dead bodies. This version of Doom on the N64, blows all the other PC and console Dooms out of the water. DAMN! That was one F**kin scary-ass game! I wished there were a sequel to this game for the N64! 🙁

It was a pretty good list, all in all. Although some of the games I havn’t played so I wouldnt really know. I love the resident evil series. Dino Crises 2 should have been in there, being chased by raptors is fuckin’ scary!
