Scams you’ve heard of, fallen for etc.?

I (slightly) felt for
Lawsuit Call Scam
which (Meresa Sympson and also 010 101 0101 are both completely made up)
a caller calls target’s number and says "Meresa Sympson I am calling you to inform you of a lawsuit in your name so write down your attorey’s number which is 010 101 0101 and call your attorney" for example.

When I got a Lawsuit Call Scam I used my knowledge to know lawsuits do not start with someone calling someone to write down attorney number.

Please becareful of Lawsuit Call Scam.

I unplugged my home phone when I received a Lawsuit Call Scam on my home phone.
