NBC has always used recordings of the SNL band in their advertisements and promotional materials, but they have never officially released recordings of the SNL theme songs, band jams or ANY recording of Howard Shore’s famous "Waltz in A" jazz tune that closes the show.

Does anyone have any of these recordings? I would be eternally grateful.

I have this recording if it helps:

I already have that. It’s good, but it’s not quite what it advertises itself to be- it’s a G.E. Smith solo album using the SNL band as his session musicians. It has no actual connection to the blues-inflected jazz fusion made famous on the show.
