Does anyone think that FF/FFIX is the same world, There are alot of clues that link them together. The 4 fiends, Garland,The crystal and the like.

It’s most likely just based off of it. I doubt they would use the same world for two different final fantasies. I know what you mean, though. They have similar things in the game, and square often uses simple things and clues to link them together, nothing more. 😉

No, Final Fantasy IX was the reference Final Fantasy. With a lot of this on it relating to other FF’s. So people did not pick these up. Check gamefaqs they have a guide on it.

Yea most of the, no all of the FF’s share bits with eachother from earlier games. FF1V had the 4 fiends as well. Best 4 fiends too. =)
