RPG What does it mean

I know it means Role Playing Game but I just dont know what it means I need an explanation

RPG means life. it means escaping your crappy reality for a much better fantasy world. it means being free to play through a story your way. and most importantly, it means if you own more than 10 of them, you need to get outside more often.

Everyone except Sarah is wrong. RPGs are open-ended games where you create a role in a specific setting and play it. DM/GMs are usually required to co-ordinate the game, although Computer RPG’s use the game engine in place of the DM/GM.
