Rodrigo Y Gabriela

Rodrigo Sanchez and Gabreila Quintero, a guitar duo from Mexico City. Apparently, their career began as guitarists in a heavy-metal band called Tierra Acida. They were inspired by the likes of Metallica, which can be seen in their version of "One". No lyrics, just acoustic guitars. And the occasional violin.

A desire to spread their creative wings landed them in Dublin City. Without much English, or money, they started busking in the streets around Temple Bar. They slowly started building a reputation and soon found themselves playing gigs around famous, artist promoting venues in Dublin.

I highly recommend you all to download one or two of their pieces. unfortunately, what I believe to be their best song, "Paris", isn’t available for free download. Try out "One [take 5]" and "Mr. Tang"
