Rockman X8 e-Capcom Original Special Sound CD & Irregular Hunter X / Rockman Rockman

Hi!

There are two soundtracks I’m looking for, from the Rockman (Mega Man) series.

The first is Rockman X8 e-Capcom Original Special Sound CD (reference (http://vgmdb.net/album/13936)), which I’d really love to have, as it features cut scene music not on the OST nor is it possible to get from a gamerip without sound effects.

The other is the Irregular Hunter X / Rockman Rockman OST (reference (http://vgmdb.net/album/15029)), which contains tracks from both PSP remakes.

If anyone could upload those (especially the X8 one), you will forever have my gratitude!

This is an incomplete release, so you’d be better off with a gamerip from both games. Unless you’re one of those that downloads only for completion sake…whatever that means for digital stuff.

Anyway, here’s ROCKMAN X8 e-Capcom ORIGINAL SPECIAL SOUND CD, but only in .mp3 since the lossless version I found once was password protected and I never managed to find its source.

BOSS LADY, between this and you agreeing to upload the Game Sound Museum soundtracks, I could hug you right now! I’m really excited to download this (well, technically I downloaded it last night, but it was late). I feel like Mega Man X8 has, musically speaking, one of the best finales in all of video games, and the cutscene music is a part of that (even though the story itself and the gameplay are fairly mediocre). So I’ve been looking for something like this for quite a long time–thank you!

As for IHX / RR OST, I do have the gamerips already, but I like comparing rips with official soundtracks (I find the latter tend to have better quality), though it does strike me very oddly that the OST for this compilation leaves out such main themes as Ice Man and Storm Eagle. I’d still like to download it if anyone has it available to put up. 🙂

Pretty much the same, as far as I know.

Not to gloat, but I happen to know someone that has it, but he’s very adamant, short of being too anal, about sharing and having his stuff re-shared, especially on forums like this. Trust me when I say I asked if he could make a rip, even at 192cbr or lower, but he didn’t budge. Maybe someone reading this owns it and is willing to share it. According to VGMdb, 6 people own it, although none of them seem to be members here.

Ah, that’s alright–and thank you for asking! I suspect it will turn up either here or somewhere on the internet one of these days. Most things do!

But I am still looking forward to the Game Sound Museum uploads–that is, if you’re still doing those? (No hurry of course, I was just wondering.) 🙂

Yeah, I’m still going to upload the Game Sound Museum albums. Although, there might be some gaps given two volumes don’t have the game play tracks, and I’m missing volume S-1 (http://vgmdb.net/album/1472). Granted, not much to cry over, but still worth mentioning.

EDIT: Actually, it turned out S-2 and S-3 are also missing the game play tracks.
