Ok, i was reading the newspaper on the bus this morning and i saw this:
http://hometown.aol.com/MyStorage1229070/Images/Ripped+off+Blitzball.JPG

and I found it really funny, I dont know why, maybe I play X too much…

Seriously though, its an article about a calendar being made in the Philippines and its based around sports that normally take place on land, but underwater. While there is no actual gaming going on, and these are models who hve been trained in how to survive underwater for a minute or so in a sporting pose, i still find the october image amusing (even though its just basketball).

Do you think that the makers play too much X as well?

Just thought i’d share and see what people here think of this…
(i would post a link to the article, but i cant find it on the newspapers site)

I bet the makers don’t even know what Final Fantasy X is. =/

They just came up with the same idea that Square Enix has. Probably just coincidence.

Also: Yui’s homeland = Philippines ^^

It’s probably just coincidence. It’s pretty awesome that it can relate to Blitzball though.

That has nothing to do with Final Fantasy X or any other video game. Yui is right, they probably don’t even know what it is. I play Final Fantasy X too much and I don’t seem to have your problem.
