I like the recording from Ricardo Muti with the Philadelphia Orchestra from 1984, but I’ll gladly listen to this one of Rimsky-Korsakov’s beautiful piece! Thank you for sharing, musik0! 🙂

Thank you! I’m always looking for new recordings of Scheherazade. Ever since I went to an outdoor symphony this past summer and they played it in entirety I’ve come to appreciate the work even more. It’s amazing!

Thank you very much.
I think that Scheherazade is one of the most beautiful works in the classical music.

Out of curiosity, why isn’t "Capriccio espagnol" split up into individual tracks to match the movements as it is on the disc?

I made it as one cue like it is in Tchaikovsky’s Capriccio Italien. Sorry, if you don’t like it 🙁

I think the best version of this work, from the artistic point of view, is that of Kiril Kondrashin (Philips), sin recording is many years ago, without taking anything away from Mackerras.
