I’m rewriting the whole story of FFIX since my girlfriend wants 2 know the whole story but I can’t tell her anything since were kinda busy!!!
need help with right quotes and happenings!!!!!!

What do you mean, rewriting? You can easily find the script over at Gamefaqs dot com, and go from there.

Just use your imagination dude. In my imagination, Zidane is eating a sandwich.

Yeah, rewriting? Are you actually going to rewrite it? If not, you can easily find the entire script online. But, don’t rewrite it. 🙁

If your GF wants to know the actual story, why would you rewrite it?

Maybe he’s trying to hide the fact IX boils down to "monkey-boy finds girl, monkey-boy loses girl to tin man, tin man accepts monkey-boy, monkey-boy reunites with girl and we don’t want to think about what comes next in this fucked-up union".

What we are led to belive is a cheeky thief finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. Decides to become enemies with an Angel Of Doom (for a princess he wants to put his monkey tail in). By some obscure reason it turns out they were both Angels Of Doom who’s destiny was to fight the other.

Good game though.

Wasn’t Zidane basically… Kuja Mk II?

Kuja was seemingly meant to be a Genome vessel, but due to a screw up by Garland, was born as a Genome with a strong will.

Before being discarded he was sent to Gaia to incite war to enable the flow of souls to increase.

Garland expanded on his Angel of Death idea by creating Zidane, since Kuja had a life-span of any other vessel his time would eventually end. So Zidane was given a much longer life span and began life as a child instead of a full-grown Genome.

Hating Zidane’s existance and the attention Garland gave him, Kuja abandoned Zidane on Gaia.

For this, Garland banned Kuja from returning to Terra.

Kuja was going to prove to Garland that Zidane was worthless, that he himself could cause enough anarchy in Gaia to fill the void of souls with Terra’s souls.

Then Kuja discovers the previously unknown to him, that he is effectively a Genome, nothing more than the Black Mages he creates.

But before he can destroy Gaia’s crystal and basically kill everyone, Zidane and co defeat him, after this he has nothing left to lose… and realises what it means to live.

I wont lie, for a game as seemingly unloved as FFIX was, it has quite a complex plot. Very philosophic.
