This is a fantastic score that while being rare in itself, is incomplete.

I have stumbled across many soundtracks on this site that I thought I’d never have, and now that I have 95% of them, I’m setting my sights on the rarest of them all.

I’ve seen thus far that most of the ones I have acquired have come from demo CDs or bootleg, or cast & crew cds. That leads me to believe that such a thing exists for Return to Oz. two days ago I wouldn’t have believed I would have possessed the soundtracks I have now added to my collection, so please someone help me in tracking down this rare full and complete soundtrack…

I would be eternally grateful as it is one of my all time favorite movies and David Shire did an amazing job with it.

Please let me know if anyone has this rare soundtrack.

Thank You!

Unfortunately no. I appreciate your help, but that is the original release score. I was looking for the unreleased music. It’s extremely rare apparently, locked away in some vault somewhere at Disney.

Yeah I wasn’t able to find anything. Damn disney and them keeping the best stuff hidden away!

I only found the OST. @ 320, but no extra music. Disney is pretty resistant to unreleased stuff…:/ But, they seem to archive every damn thing in their "vaults", so assuming the t music has survived, Disney will have it in the archives, and who knows, one day it may leak. :/

I personally want the music when Dorothy tries to escape from Mombi, it’s just fantastic! I can’t believe it wasn’t on the soundtrack in some form. The loud bombastic part when she is discovered by Mombi gives me chills everytime I hear it.
