[Request] Guitar Hero 2 Cover Version of Carry On Wayward Son (FLAC Preferred)

I’m am interested in downloading a flac lossless version of Carry On Wayward Son from Guitar Hero 2. But if there isn’t a FLAC version I wouldn’t mind a really high quality mp3 such as 320kbps VBR or CBR.

Does anyone happen to have this and is willing to share? Thanks.

Never mind, I guess nobody have the mp3 or the soundtrack, I did search for it but it seemed like there are no official release of a Guitar Hero2 Soundtrack with their cover versions, but only the original versions. Maybe it’s difficult to actually rip the original audio from the original sources such as the PS2 or XBox 360 game discs? I really don’t know.

My point is that I managed to use an online converter to extract the audio from the YouTube video as a .wav file first and then have it reconvert to .flac

Keep re-uploading mirrors to other various sites in case the links ever go dead or something as I may not have much time to re-check on this site very often.

But if someone here actually owns Guitar Hero 2 for either PS2 or XBox 360 and is able to rip that song to FLAC or Uncompressed WAV format directly from their Original Game Discs and share it, then I’d really appreciate it. But I think the quality of my extracted wav and converted to flac should be good enough if you listen to it on youtube and then listen to the rip I had made there really isn’t any noticeable differences, well, at least not according to me.

You will get the flac soon… or then not. I downloaded a 2GB gamerip of GHII and this song is in four parts… If I listen to the biggest file, it is distorted vocals. There must be some kind of way to make them one file, but I have no knowledge about that. Sorry.

And I guessed it correctly as this cover of Carry On Wayward Son is indeed done by Wavegroup.

I think I spotted a few resellers that would sell it cheaper per track. But I am only interested in the Cover of Carry On Wayward Son.
