[REQ] R. Ba�os – Evil Dead (Complete Score/Recording Sessions)

Can’t wait for this to leak. I’m fascinated with this score since I first saw the movie (fascinated with it too) and I’ve been looking for this, since the promo is not complete plus it mixes several cues into long tracks and it’s missing many film versions. If anyone has it or has any information on this, please post here for us interested in this (I know I’m not the only one). I’m biting my nails and hoping for this to leak. So if anyone has this PLEASE post here! Thanks in advance.

Also, I’d like to know what type of siren Banos used for the score: digital simulation, real siren (hand cranked, power operated), etc.
It was so nice to have a siren back in the genre since Silent Hill.

I’m in a very worst state. My finger is now ONLY bone.

The siren kinda came across as a chainsaw effect to me. Even knowing it’s a siren, the siren sound comes and I think of a chainsaw. Strange? Yes but that’s how I hear it.

I can’t picture a chainsaw. It just doesn’t register.

I’ve spent a couple weeks looking non-stop for eerie sirens after Silent Hill came out.
The speed and pitch just came off as a siren (in low-power state) automatically to me.

Although it would be interesting to see if there were any demos/sessions of Banos trying a chainsaw first before using a siren.

edit: but then i’m only thinking of the hand-held chainsaws that Ash used.

I didn’t think of the industrial ones or other types of chainsaws that don’t rely on raw fuel.
