Let me know,is this the one that we’ve heard in a film, not re-recording version?

It sounds original to me but of course the whole score could use a remastering , maybe FSM or Intrada??

It’s Herrmann’s. The source for this comes from the isolated score track from the Psycho laserdisc released in 1998. And I have to agree with moontrekker, this one needs a proper release from FSM or Intrada, maybe even La La Land could do it.

I really love this score Bernard Herrmann is my Golden Age Goldsmith , ie: Bernard Herrmann Golden Age Favorite, Jerry Goldsmith Silver Age Favorite.
