Rename your characters?

well its been awhile since i played FFIX, and when i turned it on, i was disgusted with the names i picked.

i know there is a way to change the names but i forgot what city/temple to go to.

please help >.<

you first need to the Namingway card(either in Kuja’s Desert Palace or from Mario at the Treno card tournement. which are both in disc 3) Then you need to get the Hilda Garde III and fly to the south/south east/south west part of the map near Chocobo’c Lagoon and land on the island that has the mountain.. you should see some waterfalls/bridge. enter that place.(Daugerreuo(Spelling?)) go up to the second floor and get the old guy to go over to the stack of books and go down the stairs and talk to one of the people…..sorry if it sounds confusing on that last bit…this is also where you go for the Excalibur I sidequest…

Alternatively the Namingway Card can be found in Kuja’s room in the desert palace. But you have to be in that specific part in the game where Zidane comes to rescue everyone. You can also get it by beating the card tournament when it comes up in the game. If you are past this area, keep this in mind for next time!! ^0^
