I just thought I’d make a thread to commemorate the masterpiece of a film that is V for Vendetta since it already is the 5th of Novemberfor most of the world. Do I really need to point out all the things that make this movie godly or can you guys figure that out by yourself?

btw, props to Ngrplz for reminding me what day it was.

I agree completely. V for Vendetta was an amazing film which really made me think about the fodder the public is fed via media, news, etc.

Although I cannot STAND Natalie Portman, I adored her role in this.

Remember, remember, the fifth of November INDEED

v for vendetta popularized the gunpowder treason.
i do not celebrate the mvoie, i celebrate the event that didnt happen.

still, the movie is on par with 300 as my favorite mvoies of all time.

however the comics are far superior.

let us not forget the man who was inspiration for the comics and the movie, lets us not forget the real reason why this day is remembered

They should make another V for Vendetta, except in this one V is an Obama supporter in a future where McCain is the tyrranical king of The Kingdom of America. He has to wear a mask because being black is a crime.

Seriously, watch the movie, those of you who haven’t.

Movie is pretty boring, tbh. Too long winded.

The movie is quite good by itself, but when compared with the original material its way behind.

of course you really cant put 10 volumes of a comic in a two hour movie

V for Vendetta is the only movie by the Wachowski brothers that i didn’t think was shite. The Matrix fucking blows.

Great movie, watching now.

I love V for Vendetta. I’m really glad that they decided to modernize it rather than just copy straight from the graphic novel. One of the few movies I actually own on DVD; and that is a SMALL list!

I regret not watching this in the theater when it came out. I was able to watch it with my girlfriend at her sisters house a few month ago and we both loved it.

its not the same watching it on a big screen than watching it on a gigantic theather screen. and the volume so high it was awesome
