Now that gordy is out of action (see reply above this one), perhaps somebody else who has this CD in lossless can supply a link? It seems to be out of print, if it was ever legit.

In case any John Barry fan doesn’t know it, it’s John Barry’s best collection and deserves more attention (the original CBS UK vinyl LP has great sound, somebody should rip it). Re-recordings conducted by Barry at the zenith of his power, including some fantastic James Bond music. Some of the tracks on it were also reissued on the “Themependium” CD set.

The greatest Barry rarity has to be “The Lion In Winter part 2”, b-side of Barry’s 1969 CBS 7-inch single featuring organist Alan Haven. It was slated for reissue on the “Themependium” CD set, but unfortunately didn’t make the final cut. The A-side (part 1) is one of my favourite Barry tracks and is included on the “Ready When You Are, J.B.” comp (more info on the single below…)
