Ok, I’m seeing a lot of confusion about the pricing on Final Fantasy Eleven: Online. The price is $12.95/month for the main account, which includes the one character. Tetra Master is an additional $1/month, and each character after the first is also $1/month.

Now I’ve been seeing a lot of people, and not just here on the FFShrine forums, saying that the actual price is $1.29 and $0.10 each character. I also saw those same prices when I registered my copy. But I also saw that those prices were pro-rated.

See, Sqenix runs thier billing cycle from the first of the month, to the end of the month. So for all of us who got the game the day it came out, and set-up our accounts on October 27th, our free month ends November 27th. So you are then billed for three days worth of play. 3 days = 1/10th of a month, so you will be charged 1/10th of the price for the month of November, thus the $1.29 main and $0.10 per additional.

Now when December 1st rolls around, you will be charged the full amount. I point this out because I don’t want to see people leaving because they think Sqenix is overcharging them.

Yeah I saw that too… but actually I’m pretty sure it’s still 10 cents a month from the beginning of the month, because my extra characters were pro-rated at 4 cents :D. They really need to do better on their pricing information though, because there is a lot of people who are confused.
