If you like strangely specific but strangely useless information, this thread is for you! What trivia do you guys have to share?

Nikola Tesla and Mark Twain were good friends. One day Twain decided to check out Tesla’s ‘earthquake machine’, a giant vibrating platform. Twain stood on the platform for far too long because the feeling was so cool; eventually he found it to be a useful laxative.

Heart attacks are likely to happen on Mondays and in the early mornings in your older age after you’ve retired.

Consequently, this was observed from people who worked 9-5 jobs, Monday to Friday, full time for decades upon decades.

Since you actively know you’re not going to work, your subconsience in your sleep hates the idea of being useless so it literally just dies on you.

So find a hobby. Get active in a scheduled volunteer event. Or just lie down and die.

Despite his fervent stance against licensing his work to third parties, Bill Watterson did let one publication in this vein come into existence: Teaching With Calvin & Hobbes, a book designed to help slow learners develop thinking skills. Of course, the fans ruined it and today it is nothing more than a rare collector’s item.

😉 Strange Laws in Colorado:

State: Tags may be ripped off of pillows and mattresses.

City of Alamosa: Throwing missles at cars is illegal.

City of Aspen: Catapults may not be fired at buildings.

City of Boulder: It is illegal to permit ones llama to graze on city property.

Cripple Creek: It is illegal to bring your horse or pack mule above the ground floor of any building.

Hmmmm…But then smokin’ pot is okay…go figure!
