More realistic graphics unlike it’s brightly colored cousin(Ridge Racer), and perhaps the best racing soundtrack of all the racers that came out for the system. People were even debating rather Wipeout XL or Rage Racer featured the best soundtrack at one point.

FUCK YES YOU ARE THE BEST SOUNDTRACK EVER!

God,I love Rage Racer to death. Never beat it,though. Once you reach the 5th division (Tempete or some shit),the cars with automatic transmissions start to fall behind the monsters with manual transmissions,and I,unfortunately,completely fail at trying to drive stick.

flac files of most of the ridge racer soundtracks (but not rage racer) on a private (not to mention russian) tracker. not very relevant or helpful.
