Track Listing:

Note: without further adieu, I present to you the long-awaited expanded score for the 1983 cult hit, The House on Sorority Row.

Recently released by LaLaLand Records, this was a score I’ve been wanting for many years. Surprisingly, there wasn’t much needing to be done to this apart from putting the bonus cues in chronological order. In my track list, you’ll notice that the track "Stevie in the Basement" is missing. In actuality, it’s not. Its proper chronological place is directly in the middle of Swinging Light Kill so that is where it has been moved.

To my disappointment, this ISN’T complete like I had hoped. There’s still a handful of micro transition cues that are missing but it’s not enough to lose sleep over.

Enjoy!

FYI, the bonus tracks are supposed to be in mono but some of them have a stereo feel to them so it makes me wonder if they manipulated a stereo sound out of the mono source. Either way, I was blown away by how it didn’t detract from the listening experience for me. It still doesn’t sound like it was recorded yesterday but it sounds better than a film of this caliber should. It was amazing to read that Richard Band recorded with the LSO. Must’ve been a slow season but, glad that it worked out like that. This score is really enjoyable.

Hey! That’s a nice surprise. A longer version of this score can’t help but be good.

Thousand thanks 🙂 This is one of the best and most beautiful scores Richard Band ever wrote. Wonderful orchetral, romantic, melodic 🙂 To mention is that this production was a low-budget production with a budget of 450.000$ and got such a beautiful orchestral score 🙂 Richard Band is an extremely talented composer with a fantastic output.

Listeners can actually delete the track "The Girls Dump Slater" since it’s a repeat of the music which plays at the start of "Swinging Light Kill."

I hope the original poster won’t mind (all thanks to him!), but here are codemaster88’s original MP3 files, with the one duplicate cue he mentioned removed and all tracks after it renumbered to 18. I also put LLL’s HQ cover on the files:
