what is with quinas fork attack, i think ive got her needle fork equipped at the moment and sometimes it does about 800 for damage and other times against the same bad guy it does 30 or something?

It’s randomized.

that sucks. but i love the blue magic stuff so il stick with that.

you can’t really tell when the damage will be higher or lower.

Base = Atk Pwr – Target’s Defence
Bonus = 1 … [(Lv + Str) / 8] + Str – 1
Damage = Base * Bonus

In other words, pretty random yes. But most likely, you’re not using Quina for the attack command

I never actually paid enough attention to Quina’s specific attack stats to have known this 🙁

I have discussed this many times; Quina’s attack is very unpredictable, but her/his Blue Magic is extremely useful.

So don’t dismiss Quina just because she looks like a mutated Rosie.

It’s random, and very effective at times. 🙂
