I recently picked up a copy of the Unrated DVD of "Dave Chappelle’s Block Party", and wanted to extract the audio from the extended performances. This in an attempt to create a "Complete" soundtrack for my own enjoyment.

I’ve never done anything like this before, and so I’m not quite sure what exactly to do. Anyone have any tips/suggestions/recommendations as it pertains to doing this?

Thanks!

There are a number of ways to skin this cat. Although, most of the methods will kick off with DVD Decrypter DVD Decrypter (http://www.dvddecrypter.org.uk/). You should download yourself a copy of this application. There are other useful tools on this site.

Select stream processing, and deselect the video stream. If you know which stream the audio is on, keep that one selected whilst deselecting the others.

When you’ve decrypted the movie from the DVD you’ll have a folder with a VOB file.

Then follow this link How to extract audio from .vob files (http://forum.videohelp.com/threads/342684-How-to-extract-audio-from-vob-files)
