Hey guys…….it’s been a LONG time since I’ved played FF7 for any games for that reason. I have a PS2 and want to start an entire new game of FF7. While I won’t be using it all the time, I was wanting to make sure that FF7 would work on a PS2 Gameshark? I don’t want to buy a new gameshark and for some reason, the codes not work for it. Thanks!

That depends on the version you have. I wouldn’t know specifically about PS2 GS’s however as far PS1 Gamesharks a version 3.0 (CDX) or higher will get you the best results. As far as I know, PS2 GS’s only hold codes for PS2 games. Likely because it would take up too much memory. EBay however usually has a couple 3.0 PS1 CDX’s floating around for $20.

Ok, I’ll pick up a PS1 off ebay for cheap and pick up a PS1 Gameshark as well. Thanks!
