PS2 up side

Which way do you stand your ps2 i have mine flat do most peeps have it other wise cos im the only one i know

I think the best way is flat because it looks better that way.

I dont have a PS2 but I’m gonna put it flat. What’s the point of paying $30 or whatever to get the stand to put it on its side…great way to waste money.

you can get generic brand stands for about 5 bucks on e-bay but still it looks stupid standing up, and it makes it more difficult to put the games in it. Mine is flat and will stay that way.

I stand it, and without a stand either… the real commie bastards are those who sell cheap peices of plastic for 15 bux to stand up your PS2. I used to have it flat but I needed space and my Ps2 looks like a powerfull tower of a gaming machine now! :notgood:

Actually I just noticed I have mine set upright cause I have it beside my computer desk without a stand. I have been useing it to record a VCD of the ending of ff10 :).

I stand it up without a stand…it looks like one of those monolith things out of 2001: A Space Oddysey. Oh, and Sony designed it to be stood up that way; the DVD/CD Drive works better, because it’s top heavy. When it is layed down flat, it’s less effiecient; slightly slow rotation speed, and more likelyhood of skipping.

flat. It fits better into the cupboard-thingy that my TV/PS2 is in.

When i finally get my PS2 i m going to keep it on it’s side because my sis and bro will porbably knock it down O_o

Mines is flat. I mean it does look good in its side, but why pay the extra money just to stand it up. Plus, you do drop the CDs more standing in it’s side then you do when you have it flat.

It costs nothing to stand it…

i always have mine flat, although if u didnt have to pay �10 for a vertical stand to guarentee it wouldnt fall over then maybe it would be up right

Ok people you don’t need to pay money to stand it up, the thing works fine without a stand. Anyway I switch mine around, sometimes it won’t play a dvd standing up, so I lay it flat, sometimes it won’t play a dvd flat, so I stand it up.

i have it flat… although i want it upright, but i cant be bothered to buy a stand 🙂

When I get PS2 I plan on laying it flat… Its just easier to insert cds… I think I’ll like it more flat. Plus the stand costs more money and Id rather buy games with my money.

Horizontally. It looks better, IMO, even if having it vertical saves space. =/

I layed my flat because of many reasons.

One: The room in the entertainment center doesn’t have the room to sand it up on end, Its in a small shelf above the TV.

Two: It looks alot better laying flat, but I do have a that Sony Horizonal stand under it. It looks like a DVD player that way.

Three: Even if I had the room to stand it up, I would be afraid that it could get knocked over, I didn’t spend all that money to take that chance.:alien:

I keep mine flat, I don’t really trust those stand things, not very stable IMO.

I would have my standing up… but I’m kinda running out of vert room, so flat it goes. =P
