PS2 is also going to drop. It says in PSM magazine:

"Sony has made some significant changes to PS2’s inner workings for an upcoming new revision of the system. Most importantly, it has used a new manufacturing process to combine the Emotion Engine(CPU) and Graphics Sythisizer(GPU) circuitry to a single chip, which will shave a hefty amount of the cost of making the system. This new PS2 isn’t expected to look any different, but the money saved by Sony will no doubt be passed along to consumers in the form of a price drop."
