I think what it does is convert BBCode tags to HTML tags, but for security, OBJECT and EMBED tags are disabled. Of course they are needed to embed videos. The fix you need is to block user entered HTML tags but allow the VIDEO BBCode tag to correctly be converted to OBJECT and EMBED HTML tags.
