"It always hurts the first time,"
An echo responded.
I sighed and readied myself for another try.
I wanted to make her sing,
But only in the world of
Gentle touches with strong bites
Could such a dream come true.
I positioned her strategically upon my lap
And placed my hand upon her neck
And placed my hand upon her body
And in one stiff slide,
I could hear her ardent tone.
I lavished in a parade of warm victory:
My lips pulled back into a tight smile.
I looked down into the penetration:
We were as one.
Part of her was inside of me
Where a thin skin used to be.
I paused.
Fascinated at this fragile interaction,
I withdrew my fingers from her strip.
I no longer felt that once odd discomfort
And relished in that beautiful moment
When I realized that I could one day
Control this beautiful stringed instrument.
