There’s something spectacular about a great orchestra firing on all cylinders. Must be awesome to see something like this live. Thanks for sharing.

That may the best description I’ve ever heard of an orchestra when they are at their best,Mel. In the late 1980’s,the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra was the very best at doing it in the world IMHO.

I have no doubt. Unfortunately, the 80s are gone, so is Kunzel, and Cincinnati is way too far from where I live anyway. However, I have had the opportunity so see the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra on its annual Film Music Gala in London this year. I sat behind the Orchestra, close to the percussion, which isn’t optimal for sound, but better seats were beyond my price range, and at least I was so close, I could see everything and everybody. That was a pretty cool experience.
