This is the second time that I visit FFShrine and get a PM pop-up without ever having received an e-mail notification even though I have that option switched on. Thoughts?

There were some issues with the site being hacked or something and sending out spam. Staff decided to just nuke the whole email aspect of the website.

You log on. No notifications pop-up? Close window. Takes 5sec at most. Come on, bollemanneke 😉
If you set ffshrine as (one of) your homepage(s) you don’t even have to go to it manually any more and log on. Computer starts up > open browser > ffshrine home page > no PMs? > close window and get to work. Piece of cake, no?
