hi i extracted the blow out soundtrack but the files wont play, is there another program for them to work? i used 7Zip

I’m on Mac and use Keka. Not sure what would be best for Windows.

What won’t work exactly. You can’t open the zip file or play the ALAC files?

all the files downloaded, when i click on to play them it says something about ds and wrong codecs. i hvae Vlc and windows media player i use 7 Zip

i believe the ALAC files wont work

I have tested the ALAC files and they sound perfect when played on iTunes. But I’m on a MAC.

There are many free programs that will convert ALAC (or FLAC) to MP3 or whatever format you like for Windows. ALAC does not play on WMP without an additional codex like this: Advanced Codecs for Windows 7 and Windows 8 (http://shark007.net/win7codecs.html)

Apple Lossless data is stored within an MP4 container with the filename extension .m4a. This extension is also used by Apple for lossy AAC audio data in an MP4 container (same container, different audio encoding).
