Hi.
I just got to the 3rd ascent (Pharos tower) and i keep on dieing against Hashmalim (or whatever his name is) because i forgot to bring remedies, so i keep on getting hit by Disease status. I reaaaaally don’t want to go all the way back to rabanastre, buy remedies and come back. Is there any way to cure disease other than remedies/vacine? or a way to quickly kill the esper before disease gets to me?

Well you could always use the teleport stones…
But if not, then I guess the quickest way is always to get lucky and have a good quickening.

Theres no teleport crystal at the 3rd ascent, i’d still have to walk all the way back there. I got the esper to about 1/4 of his HP even with 3 diseased party members, but still lost.
I guess i’ll just have to walk…

So I’ll take it Esuna doesn’t cure Disease? I havn’t tried, never been hit with disease. But I’m sorry I couldn’t help you more. I’m only at the part where you go deeper into Feywood to go to the city that starts with a G.

the only way to remove it w/o using remedies is by using the Cleanse (White Magic) ability, but then you’ll need to buy that, so you’re back to traveling on foot anyway.

Umm… Excuse me… For those who doesn’t know yet… This esper element is earth… And he is using Earth elemental attack so to make the battle easier, put ‘Float’ on your characters. This guy is easy. Try ‘bubble’ to double your HP. ‘Cleanse’ will work too… But ‘remedies’ will be useless if you haven’t got its LP. So far… this is the easiest esper I fought so far… I fought it for about 5 minutes only…. Oh… don’t forget to put your gambits to Healing and supporting your characters.

This thread is over a week old, ive beaten hashmal already.
Yes, i was using float, but still getting hit by disease, so i just went to buy cleanse.
