Anyone who reads the ‘what song are you currently listening to’ thread will have noticed for the past 4 days I’ve been listening to Pearl Jam most of the time. Anyway I kinda under-rated them before thinking that only songs like Once and Jeremy were good but now they could well be my favourite band =) , what are other peoples thoughts?

Pearl Jam still rock. Riot Act was amazing. Anyone who does not celebrate this band is a musical moron and we should feel sorry for them…

First of all, Mossy, don’t try to get into it with Rezo, he’ll outsmart you. Second of all, Pearl Jam is much better than that fucking Nirvana shit. I wish Kurt didn’t kill himself so I would have to listen to rich kids worship that Cherry Cobbler Brained asshat, when Eddy Vedder has a lot more talent.

I used to love Pearl Jam, I mean I use to worship them (not literally). But then I just grew out of them, when ever I listen to a Pearl Jam song now I can’t help but think, ‘This isn’t anything too great.’

I used to be so into that whole grunge scene, but like I said, I grew out of it.

"Black" is their best song… all others on Ten are good, but Black is the best…

I definately thought you were cool, Rezo 🙁 Whats happening?

Also, Pearl Jam are fucking awesome. I still like Nirvana, but I much prefer Pearl Jam, and I love the lyrics to the songs too.

Also, yeah Black is their best song from Ten, but imo, it’s not their best song.

I’ve never listened to Pearl Jam. I was just making fun of the comments directly above my post about people not liking Pearl Jam being musical morons that don’t deserve pity and such.

Pearl Jam vs. Creed.

Anyone?

That’s right, they sound exactly the same.

There was a ‘Celebrity Death Match’ between Eddie Vedder and Scott Stapp, Eddie won. I have to say though, they may have sounded similar Pearl Jam’s sound did change near the end of their second album. But yes, Eddie Vedder and Scott Stapp sound exactly the same.

I’m glad you redeemed yourself right there.
